Zero Day in White Pass
There is supposed to be bad rains tonight totaling near two inches of total rainfall, so it was an easy decision to stay in the very nice accommodations one more night. We also got a nice surprise when Stewart, the gentleman who contacted us via Facebook, offered to put us up for a night in a hotel room as a thank you for helping his friend. All around it was a big win for us today.
We relaxed hard, only getting out of bed to use the bathroom and buy more food at the small convenience store. We had to get creative with meals because the store didn’t have much, but we managed grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for lunch and Spanish rice and beans and Mac and cheese for dinner. It was pretty good. Anything warm at this point is a winner.
We watched a lot of TV and movies today and it was awsome. It will be hard to get going tommorrow and venture back out into the cold and wet Washington wilderness.
