Foothills Trail (2017)

During March 2017, Carolyn solo hiked the Foothills Trail through a portion of South/North Carolina. The trail is 76 miles through beautiful forests and mountains, and hosts notable and scenic rivers and waterfalls. The route took Carolyn 4.5 days and was her first multi-day backpacking trip by herself. It was a really spectacular first solo trip and she recommends hiking it for beginners and advanced hikers alike.
