We woke really early and were hiking in the pitch black by 5:20 AM. It’s fun hiking in the dark by headlamps and then being able to see the world turn into daylight slowly and effortlessly.
It was cold and misty again all day. We saw some interesting mushrooms that grew on trees and in the soil on the side of the trail. Life takes on many strange and unusual forms.
We are at Kelly’s B&B in Trout Lake, WA tonight. It’s a really splendid and relaxed place. Back out to the trail tommorrow morning.
