Didn’t stay in Monson tonight. Pilot and I decided to hike to the next lean-to since we both had enough of town and wanted to get back on the trail. It was a good decision because it was beautiful out and the trail was nice and easy. Grey Beard and Short n Sweet were at the shelter and they were a pleasure to talk with. They are doing a section hike and will be done tomorrow. Pilot and I are going to try and catch Sponge and Splake tomorrow or the next day. Supposed to be really good weather this week and I’m looking forward to seeing what the trail will offer me. It always surprises.
