Hard day today. I went up White Cap mountain and had some really good views. I was able to call Carolyn and my parents and let them know everything is okay. It was good talking to Carolyn and seeing what she’s been up to. I was camping alone on the river tonight until another SOBO hiker, Pilot, showed up. It made me happy to camp with someone again, and she was good company. More up and down mountains tomorrow, should be fun. Maine is spectacular so far.
