Long day today. Didn’t expect to hike this much but the terrain was easy. Met up with Roaming Dude who I had met up with one day in Seattle, which was cool. Seems to be taking it slow which is what I should probably be doing. I guess I kept walking because I would be bored otherwise. I’m starting also to exude a most pleasant fragrance from my body. A shower in Monson is a must. Hanging out with Connor last night lifted my spirits, but I’m alone tonight which isn’t as fun. Hopefully tonight I can sleep better. The lakes here are very scenic, like they are from a postcard or something. The trail here brings you around them and also has you ford some rivers, which is always exciting. So far so good.
