Zero Day in Mojave, CA<\/p>\n

I am embarrassed to admit what Carolyn \u00a0and I ate today on our day off from the trail, but here it goes:
\n2 Bagels each with almost a whole bar of cream cheese<\/p>\n

40 Pizza rolls<\/p>\n

5 frozen bean and cheese burritos each<\/p>\n

A bag of nacho cheese Doritos<\/p>\n

A whole box of Hostess Cupcakes<\/p>\n

A McMuffin and Large fries from McDonalds<\/p>\n

1 Liter of Coke<\/p>\n

And lots of shame- the day isn\u2019t even quite over yet for eating.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This calorie infusion was certainly needed as my waste buckle on my backpack cannot be tighteneded any further. Certainly not the healthiest options but I hope perhaps I gained a few pounds back from this binge eating extravaganza.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Back to the trail early tommorrow morning. It\u2019s getting a lot hotter here- was 96 degrees today in Mojave. Hoping for some slightly cooler temps once we climb a little higher out of the desert floor.\u00a0<\/p>\n
