From April 22nd to September 15th, 2016, Carolyn and I hiked 2460 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). We had intended to hike the entire trail in 2016 but the weather started to turn and Carolyn was battling with Achilles tendinitis, so we decided to stop 190 miles from the Canadian border. We finished the trail in 2017, hiking 200 miles south from Cascade Locks to Elk Lake to complete the part of Oregon Carolyn missed, and then we moved up to Stehekin Pass and hiked the remaining 190 miles north to Canada.
